By Air
The fastest way to get to Tiree is by air. Direct daily flights with Loganair leave from Glasgow airport.

By Sea
A more pleasant way way to get to Tiree is by sea. Car ferries operated by Caledonian MacBrayne serve Tiree from Oban. This is a four hour trip up the Sound of Mull, often stopping at Coll along the way. Once a week in the summer there is also a weekly service to and from Barra.

Getting around on Tiree
Although the island is small public transport is sparse and you will need your own vehicle. It is possible to hire both cars and bicycles on the island.
